Are there cash prizes?
What are the registration fees?
The registration is ₦1,500 (One Thousand Five Hundred Naira) per dancer.
How will the teams be evaluated?
The teams will be judged according to HHI judging criteria; skills, street presentation, musicality, performance, creativity. It is particularly important for the participants to stick with street dance style of the category that they are registered for. Please click here for details.
What type of attire can I/We wear?
Attire which may include accessories such as hats, caps, gloves, scarves, jewelry, etc are allowed. Removing pieces of clothing during the performance is permitted provided it is not offensive or out of character. Clothing that is too short, suggestive, obscene or inappropriate is not allowed. Tap shoes, jazz shoes, high-heeled shoes and bare feet are prohibited.

How long does my music need to be?
Two Minutes for plus or minus 5 seconds (2:00 ± :05)
Will the battle winners be eligible to be part of Team Nigeria for the World Battles in Las Vegas?
Yes, following further screening by our talent scouts.
When and where is the qualifiers?
The qualifier is tentatively scheduled from February 23rd-25th in Lagos.
Is the competition opened to ONLY Lagosians?
No, it is a national qualifier. All Nigerian dancers are free to apply.
Can an individual compete in more than one category?
Yes, an individual can compete in one battle event and a crew. An individual cannot compete in two battle events e.g popping and locking.
Can I bypass the qualifiers?
Why do you need my passport information?
Passports are required to process visiting visas for dancers to travel to the USA to participate in the competition.
What if I don’t get a visa?
Issuance and visa is solely regulated by the US government and governed by their rules and regulations that may be amended from time to time. HHI Nigeria will sponsor the dancer’s application subject to the dancer fulfilling all the eligibility conditions. HHI Nigeria, HHI and their sponsors are not liable for visa denial or rejection at US port of entry by the US authorities.
